SUBSTANCE: method involves washing sugar beet roots and grinding in beet cutter; heating beet ground into cubic pieces to temperature of 62-63 C and pressing in rotor press while exposing beet pieces to electric field, with grinding, heating and pressing procedures being conducted in shielding medium; wetting pressed out beet mass with water; squeezing liquid and heating it to temperature of 85-90 C; creating shielding medium by spraying heated liquid in housing for forming fog spray. Housing incorporates conveyor, beet cutter, high-frequency heater and rotor-type press. EFFECT: improved process conditions by avoiding use of carbon dioxide as shielding medium and, accordingly, increased ecology control. 1 dwg
