Zusammenfassung:	electronics; semiconductor devices for power converter engineering. SUBSTANCE: optical thyristor has case mounted on base symmetrically to base center; base also mounts anode thermal compensator, silicon thyristor with photodetector window, cathode thermal compensator, and cathode power lead; light- emitting diode with control circuit leads is installed inside case above photodetector window. Base is provided with rectangular locking drillings with internal projections on both sides ensuring desired case- to-base adhesion; shorter sides of base have oval drillings arranged symmetrically and in opposition to center; control circuit leads and cathode power lead are provided with oval holes. Power and control circuits of thyristor are electrically isolated. EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity, reduced material input, simplified design, reduced mass and size of thyristor. 3 dwg
