SUBSTANCE: the mentioned method consists in drop injection of 40-60% of oleum in a melt of maleic anhydrude heated to a temperature of 75-80 C during 2.5-5.0 h with consumption of 1.7-3.5 g/min of oleum per gram of maleic anhydride at a constant agitation. EFFECT: enhanced purity of the target product and enhanced capacity of the process of its production.
