SUBSTANCE: method involves gathering flower product such as roses of hybrid tea group; treating stem by removing leaves and barbs from lower part to height not exceeding 15 cm; cutting off stem for 2-3 cm; holding in water at temperature of 8-10 C for 12-24 hours in room without access of light; placing plants in vessels filled with nutrient solution and setting steady illumination of 500-600 W/sq.m, air temperature not exceeding 25 C and moisture content of 80-90%; changing nutrient solution and cutting off stem for 1-2 cm every day. Nutrient solution contains, wt. %: sugar, 40-60; maleic hydrazide, 0.01-0.1; boric acid, 0.1-0.3; potash alum, 0.5-0.7; water, the balance.
