SUBSTANCE: precision iron-based castable alloy with minimum linear expansion factor, which is suitable for use in laser engineering, in precision instrumentation engineering, in optical electronics, etc. in particular for manufacturing parts operated in contact with quartz-based material, contains, wt.%: nickel, 31.5- 33.0; cobalt, 6.0-8.0; chromium, 0.1-0.25; niobium, 0.3-0.5; rare-earth elements (cerium, lanthanum, praseodymium, neodymium), 0.05-0.25; and iron, the balance. EFFECT: lowered linear expansion factor and improved stability of mechanical and working characteristics. 4 tbl
