SUBSTANCE: method of treatment of sugar-containing solution involves preparing milk of lime with addition of vegetable oil phosphatides as a surface-active substance, addition of milk of lime to sugar-containing solution, the first saturation, addition of milk of lime, the second saturation and filtration. Lime is slaked with water and ready milk of lime is divided for two parts. One part comprising 3/4 of total mass of milk of lime is mixed with vegetable oil phosphatides in amount 0.03-0.12% to lime mass and fed to the crude sugar-containing solution. The residual part of milk of lime without phosphatides is fed to sugar-containing solution before its the second saturation. Viscosity value of milk of lime is decreased by 1.6-2.0-fold as compared with the known method. Invention provides decrease of consumption of surface-active substance and increase of lime slaking rate value by 2.0-2.4-fold as compared with the known method. This results to improvement of quality of the purified sugar-containing solution. EFFECT: improved method of treatment. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
