Method of synthesis of N-nitrooxazolidines-1,3 of the general formula (I) is carried out by interaction of beta-hydroxyalkylsulfamate of the formula (II) with formaldehyde in water medium or a mixture of water with alcohol followed by nitration of reaction product with nitrating agent and if necessary the end product of the general formula (I) where R means CH2Cl is converted to compound of the general formula (I) where R means CH2N3 by treatment with sodium azide.
