SUBSTANCE: method involves examining blood neutrophil level, determining general bactericide activity of neutrophils, intracellular alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity, intracellular lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activity, intracellular catalase enzyme activity, malonic dialdehyde concentration at the first, second, third, fifth, seventh and tenth day after trauma. Malonic dialdehyde concentration being found 39 ± 6% higher at the third day after trauma, neutrophil catalase enzyme activity being 20 ± 4% lower at the fifth day after trauma with respect to the initial level and bactericide neutrophil activity being 12 ± 3% lower, alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activity being 50 ± 9% and 85 ± 8% higher at the seventh day after trauma with respect to the initial level, pyo- septic complications are predicted to occur.
