SUBSTANCE: device has floating gathering vessel provided in its lower part with discharge hole and impeller, and overflow sill movable in vertical direction. Gathering vessel accommodates freely located separating partition with hole in center. Average density of partition is intermediate between densities of oil and water. Side walls of gathering vessel ahs apertures. Overflow sill is made in form of curtains covering apertures and connected by means of brackets with float located in gathering vessel whose inner side of side walls has shelves under apertures. Shelf width exceeds gaps between side walls of gathering vessel and separating partition whose surface is inclined toward partition center at angle of 4-10 deg. Float has through branch pipe in center and plate deflector, both located on same axis.
