SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of 1,4-benzothiazepine- -1,1- dioxide of the formula (I) where R1 means unbranched C1-6-alkyl group; R2 means unbranched C1-6-alkyl group; R3 means hydrogen atom; R4 means phenyl; R5 R6, R8 are taken among hydrogen atom; R7 means the group of formulas (Ia) and (Ib) where hydroxy-groups can be substituted with acetyl; R16 means -COOH, -CH2-OH, -CH2-O-acetyl, -COOMe; R9 and R10 are similar or different and each means hydrogen atom or C1-6/ -alkyl group; X means -O-, or to its salts, solvates and physiologically acceptable derivatives. Invention relates to also the compound of the formula (V) and methods of synthesis of these compounds. The proposed compounds inhibit absorption of bile acids and can be used as an active components of drug used for prophylaxis or treatment of patients with hyperlipidemic states. EFFECT: new compounds indicated above, improved methods of synthesis, valuable medicinal properties. 9 cl, 1 tbl, 5 ex
