SUBSTANCE: temperature sensor responding to ambient temperature as high as 60-80 C has reed relay mounting magnetic system that has components made, respectively, of ferrite and magnetic materials; length of reed-relay case does not exceed 15 mm; magnetic system has two or three components of which one is made of magnetic material; one component of magnetic system made of ferrite material is placed in extreme position; ratio of length of reed relay case to that of magnetic system and to height of the latter is (1.8-3.0) : (0.7-1.5) : 1. Reed-relay cylinder may be installed in tube made of elastically strained material; magnetic system components are mounted on mentioned tube and secured thereon using elastic strain properties and/or adhesive joint. EFFECT: reduced size, mass, and cost of sensor. 2 cl, 2 dwg
