Zusammenfassung:ferrous metallurgy; iron smelting. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading iron ore charge containing pellets at basicity of 0.3 to 0.5 and sinter cake. Use is made of sinter cake containing titanium and magnetite alumina concentrate, quartzitic concentrate and ore at the following percentage: first concentrate, 20 to 25; second concentrate, 40 to 50 and ore, 30 to 40. This sinter cake is used together with 30-70% pellets to ensure obtaining charge in blast furnace at basicity of B= (CaO+MgO)/(SiO2+Al2O3) within 1.03 and 1.07 at ratio B/ma.m.m. within 1 and 1.04 and ratio of content of MgO in slag to titanium in cast iron ranges from 230 to 270.
