SUBSTANCE: syndiotactic 1.2-polybutadiene is prepared by polymerization of butadiene-1,3 in toluene or monomer in the presence of preformed initiator. Initiator is prepared by reacting complex of cobalt halide, carboxylate or acetyl acetonate with triphenyl phosphine and isobutylalumoxane in the presence of conjugated diene, molar ratios of components being as follows: Co: triphenyl phosphine: Al: diene is 1:2: (10-50):(10-50). Formation temperature ranges from minus 20 to plus 50 C for 0.1 to 24 h. Polymerization is carried out at temperatures from minus 20 to plus 10 C. Method makes it possible to cut down consumption of isobutyl alumoxane by 10 times and high catalytic activity of preformed initiator is retained reduce ash content in polymer, simplify stage of washing polymer from catalyst residues and improve ecological aspects of technology.
