Zusammenfassung: | fiber optics, development of fiber-optical gyroscopes and other fiber transmitters of physical quantities. SUBSTANCE: procedure of signal processing of ring interferometer of fiber-optical gyroscope with open loop consists in supply of stepped sawtooth voltage to wide-band phase modulator which helps to change difference of phases of beams of ring interferometer to pulse sequence with four levels, in isolation of error signal by first demodulator and in isolation of signal of rotation of gyroscope with the aid of second demodulator. In this case voltage proportional to average value of optical power of beams of ring interferometer interfered across photodetector is enhanced. Information on value of angular velocity is picked off from output of second demodulator with division of voltage across its output into value Upo or from output of first demodulator. EFFECT: increased stability of scale factor of fiber-optical gyroscope, reduced non-linearity of its output characteristic and widened range of measured angular velocities. 3 dwg |
