Zusammenfassung: | mechanical engineering, machining of current-conducting materials. SUBSTANCE: cutting plate is placed inside the hollow of the tool corner on the support current-conducting plate. The corner is covered with insulator. The current-conducting plate is put into electric circuit with machined workpiece. The cutting plate is electrically isolated from the support plate, housing, and fix members of the cutting tool. The insulator is applied over the support plate surface contacting with the cutting plate, over the stopper surface of the corner hollow, and over the surface of the fix members contacting with the cutting plate and projecting from the housing. The cutting plate is provided with a screw having shaped head. The screw is secured with eccentricity to the central shaped opening provided in the support plate and fixes the support plate to the housing. Also the cutting plate is provided with adjusting screws installed to the threaded openings provided in the support plate. The axes of one group of the threaded openings are parallel to the major tool flank orthogonal plane and of the other group are parallel to the major cutting edge.
