SUBSTANCE: fuel and lube fractions are prepared by vacuum distillation of mazut in presence of spent mineral oils taken in proportion from 0.3 to 5% of the weight of mazut. In the process, preliminarily dehydrated and freed of suspended impurities spent motor, transmission, or industrial oil, or their mixture. Spent mineral oil is added to petroleum residue directly before feeding the latter into vacuum distillation column.
