SUBSTANCE: color coating is composed of polymeric material, dye, and thinner; polymeric material is composition of epoxy resin and pyromellitic dianhydride; thinner is composition of acetone, solvent, and monoethyl ester of ethyleneglycol; dye is mixture of yellow and orange tyrazoles. Proportion of ingredients is as follows, mass percent: epoxy resin 12.8-13.2; pyromellitic dianhydride 2.4-2.7; acetone 44.0-46.0; solvent 9.5-10.4; monoethyl ester of ethyleneglycol 10.0-10.6; yellow tyrazole 15.2-15.7; orange tyrazole 3.5-4.0. Proposed compound is used as surface coating material for lamp bulbs applied by known methods among them being, for example, dipping bulb in color compound to definite level followed by its drying in the open for 30-35 min and then in drying cabinet at 200 C for 5 min. Color coating applied in this way should be uniform, transparent, colored dark orange.
