Spontaneous hematocrit test, leukocyte number, lipid peroxidation products contents index and the number of segmented neutrophils in patient blood are determined. Classification scores are calculated from formulas S1=- 45.68+19.08X1+4.06X2+13.87X3+0.78X4 and S2=- 38.71+15.11X1+3.62X2+10.82X3+0.74X4, where X1 is spontaneous patient blood hematocrit test index, X2 is the leukocyte number in patient blood, X3 is the lipid peroxidation products contents index in patient blood, X4 is the number of segmented neutrophils in patient blood. S1 is compared to S2. S1 being greater than S2, no postoperative complications are predicted. S2 being greater than S1 risk of postoperative complications is predicted.
