SUBSTANCE: current supply incorporating backup provision has its case provided with additional non-working chambers, covers mounted on case for moving up and additionally turning or displacing in horizontal plane enabling alternate location of cathode-anode unit in working and non- working chambers. Anode manufacturing method aimed at producing fine-grain structure with uniformly distributed doping elements as well as metastable solid solutions involves mixing doping elements prior to introducing them in aluminum melt to obtain alloy, then they are introduced in melt; the latter is poured in the form of flat jet, then melt is hardened and cooled down on rotating surface of crystal pan; strip obtained in the process is coiled up and/or cut into pieces; then active material of anode is subjected to finishing treatment and connected to current lead. For manufacturing active material of anode, use is made of ingredients in following proportions, mass percent: tin - 0.25-0.4; gallium - 0.005-0.1; aluminum - the rest.
