SUBSTANCE: electrode base is preheated, evacuated, and prior to first impregnation it is rinsed with degreasing solution at 50-90 C, dried out under vacuum at 60-90 C, subjected to at least one rinsing with demineralized water at 500-100 C, whereupon it is held in demineralized water for 1-24 h. In addition, electrode bases of nickel-oxide plate for alkaline accumulator are held prior to second and third impregnation procedures in demineralized water and then impregnated. Such procedure ensures utmost filling of electrode base with active material during impregnation procedure. EFFECT: enhanced power characteristics of nickel-oxide plates. 2 cl, 1 tbl
