SUBSTANCE: in a ground sublimed sulfur production process including grinding of lump sublimed sulfur in presence of additives, initial sulfur is characterized by particle size not exceeding 20 mm and grinding is followed by separation and recycle of coarse fraction and separation of desired product, grinding and separation operations being conducted in recycling stream of nitrogen-containing medium, whereas final product is separated under action of periodical vibrations. Optimal results are achieved when following conditions are observed: circulating stream of nitrogen-containing medium is created by means of fan, additives are introduced into stream at fan outlet, nitrogen-containing medium consists of nitrogen and air, performance of fan is at least 4500 cu.m/h, grinding is effected on jet-rotor mill and separation on dynamic separator.
