Zusammenfassung: | ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for protecting poured metal or alloy flow from atmospheric air has distributing collector, supply branch pipes, inner circular nozzle oriented at an angle to metal flow, outer circular nozzle positioned at an angle of 31-35 deg to axis of apparatus, and two partition walls. First partition wall divides collector into two isolated cavities. Second perforated partition wall divides each cavity into receiving and consumer chambers communicated one with the other. Each receiving chamber is communicated with supply branch pipe. One of consumer chambers is connected to inner circular nozzle and other consumer chamber is connected to outer circular nozzle. Chambers are connected in pairs one with the other to stabilize density of gas flow and generate ultrasonic waves. Shielding gas flowing from nozzle at an angle of 31-35 deg forms continuous screen around flow of poured metal. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of metal. 1 dwg |
