METHOD OF COHERENT RECEPTION WITH DECISION FEEDBACK

radio communication. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to receivers. It can be employed for coherent reception in direct channel UMTS at high speed of movement of mobile station. Technical result of invention lies in decreased number of symbols in slot received by decision after initial evaluation of parameters of channel obtained by pilot symbols which leads to diminished influence of upset on quality of reception. With this in mind first half of data of slot is received by preceding pilot symbol and second half of data of slot is received by subsequent pilot symbol. Improved quality of reception with decision feedback is achieved thanks to setting of boundary between blocks of data received in forward and backward runs on boundary symbol but not on middle of slot. Energy of all symbols of slot is calculated and symbol whose energy is minimal is chosen as boundary symbol. After this reception in forward direction from start of slot to boundary symbol and in backward direction from end of slot to boundary symbol is carried out. In this case boundary symbol is related to that part of slot where information symbols are few. EFFECT: diminished influence of upset on quality of reception. 3 cl, 5 dwg
