SUBSTANCE: a zone of sensitivity of the laser hydrophone is formed in the aqueous medium with the aid of two single-signal shady systems with parallel optical axes, and the floating material under examination is directed to this zone at a right angle to the plane of arrangement of the optical axes of the shady systems or additionally along these axes. The systems operate in the condition of sequence of the laser pulses. Then, correlation treatment of photoelectric signals detected by the shady systems is carried out, the noise parameters of the floating material is judged by these results.
