SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for testing road vehicle tyres on road and in field. tyre tester has truck, articulated frame with wheel to be tested secured on frame, reactive torque compensator, drive mechanism, wheel loading device, measuring links and recording devices. Device to control vertical load oscillation amplitude is secured on load section of truck. This device provides arbitrary setting of vertical load oscillation amplitude. Device is made in form of change-over distributor connected to bracket turning hydraulic cylinders and random variable generator connected through stabilizer with distributor control solenoid coil. EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurement. 4 dwg
