Zusammenfassung: | ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: mold has tetrahedral body with trunnions located in body upper part, lower thickened bead and internal cavity. Cavity upper part is made in the form of prism and truncated pyramid conjugated with each other. Truncated pyramid is twice as high as prism. External upper part of body is made in the form of truncated pyramid whose height equals sum of heights of pyramidal and prismatic parts of body internal cavity and its taper amounts up to 0.7-1.2 tapers of pyramidal part of internal cavity. Body opposite faces have ribs in the form of bosses and trunnions are located on ribs-bosses and their thickness equals 1.0-1.2 thicknesses of trunnions to reduce specific consumption of ingot molds and to decrease discard of castings. Making of external part of body in the form of truncated pyramid allows reduction of metal content of ingot molds in ingot stripping. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
