Zusammenfassung:rolled stock production, possibly manufacture of electrical steels, particularly by hot rolling of continuously cast ingots of electrical anisotropic (transformer) steel to strips with thickness (2- 3.5)m. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rolling ingots of electrical anisotropic steel in rough group of continuous rolling mill according to next schedule: in first stand of rough stand group subjecting slab to reduction no more than 5% sufficient for loosening furnace scale; in second stand of rough group subjecting slab to reduction no more than 35%; then increasing reduction values in third and forth stands of rough group by 5-10% in each stand next relative to previous one; selecting reduction value in fifth stand of rough group according to rolled piece thickness determined in dependence upon mass content of silicon in steel with use of relation : (40-41)mm for (2.8-3)% of Si, (42-44) for (3.01-3.4)% of Si.
