In both modes, separation process is carried out according to algorithm: η = Ni/NS+kNFe in free fall mode, wherein -50(40)+10(5)mm, is separation characteristic value, -150+50(40)mm number of recorded x-ray quanta of examined mineral, η number if pulses of scattered primary emission, Ni number of x-ray quanta corresponding to iron emission, and K spectral factor.
