SUBSTANCE: method includes melting of initial material in presence of fluxes forming oxide of alkali metal, separation of melt with predominant content of silver from slag; dissolving of this alloy in solution of nitric acid; precipitation from nitric acid solution of hydroxides of metals-impurities with pH 2-5; reduction melting of platinum metals from alloy insoluble residue and hydroxides. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for alloy refining and content of noble metals in slags, fuller purification of silver nitrate solution from impurities of platinum metals in process of hydrolysis. 2 cl, 2 ex
