SUBSTANCE: polymer granules used as sorbents for middle- and high-pressure liquid chromatography and gas chromatography are prepared by cross-linking granulated styrene and/or alpha-chloromethylstyrene/divinylbenzene copolymer in presence of organic solvent until cross-linking degree reaches 2.3 to 30.0%. Resulting granules are sphere-shaped with number-average diameter 0.5 to 100 mcm and maximum diameter value deviation 0.1 to 20.0%.
