Novelty is that gripping tool incorporates a number of hydraulic cylinders whose plungers are arranged perpendicular to bottom ledge of steel span, top jaws, and stops corrugated at point of contact with bottom ledge; jaws are coaxially arranged in pairs within gripping tool casing; the latter encloses bottom ledge of steel span at its ends; top jaws and stops are spaced apart in gripping tool casing along bottom ledge through distance exceeding their diameter.
