Zusammenfassung:mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: turbo-compressor includes hermetically closed casing, motor chamber formed in central portion of casing, drive motor mounted in motor chamber and drive shaft coupled with drive motor; one end of this shaft is inserted in first compression chamber and other end is inserted in second compression chamber. First and second compression chambers are mounted on either side of casing. Turbo- compressor is provided with first and second impellers located in first and second compression chambers with their inlets directed towards each other; they are coupled with both ends of drive shaft. Turbo-compressor is also provided with gas through which cooling gas is sucked for primary compression in first compression chamber and discharge of it to second compression chamber. EFFECT: reduced dimensions of compressor; reduced number of compressor units; enhanced efficiency of compression. 29 cl, 3 dwg
