SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has hermetically sealed housing with cover and sealing member, intaking and suction hoses with valves, safety float, fine and coarse filters. Housing may be rail tank car, tank truck or any other standard vessel. Internal cavity of housing is communicated via suction hose with mechanical pump provided with electric drive. Automatic switch fixed on cover is adapted for switching off pump in the process of filling internal cavity with liquid. Permanent magnet is mounted in housing in opposed relation to stem stop. Float with adjusting weight is positioned between two stops on stem in housing. Cover attached to automatic device casing is provided with end switch which is turned off when stem is in its upper position. In this case, communication between internal cavity of hermetically sealed housing and atmosphere is established via openings, stem bore and hose to allow large amounts of liquids to be withdrawn even from deep cavities.
