SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing porous polymer membranes and can be used for filtration, analysis, and purification of various media in microbiological and other areas. Aliphatic polyamide is dissolved water-containing formic acid, after which poly-N-vinylamide with molecular weight 2000 to 20000 is added. Resulting solution contains 15-20% polyamide, 13-17% water, and 0.02-0.4% polyvinylamide (the rest being formic acid). Wet formation of this solution gives membrane.
