Zusammenfassung:polymerization catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of liquid-phase C3-C4-olefin oligomerization catalyst, in which nickel- silicate or nickel-aluminosilicate composition is first prepared from silicate or aluminosilicate carriers brought in contact with nickel salt solutions, after which composition is dried and calcined. Improvement of this method consists in that above composition is prepared by coprecipitation of nickel salts with silica gel or aluminosilicate in aqueous ammonia solution at pH 8-10 followed by filtration of resulting suspension, molding of paste by pressing or extrusion with aluminum hydroxide. Method makes it possible to prepare high-efficiency, selective, and stable catalyst for liquid-phase oligomerization pf propylene and butylenes preserving catalytic effect at moderate temperatures (up to 100 C) for a long-time (more than 100 h) period.
