Zusammenfassung:chemical industry, more particularly preparation of gadolinium oxide from gadolinium-containing organic mixtures. SUBSTANCE: organic mixture containing gadolinium oxide is boiled in hydrochloric acid at 100-110 C for 4 hours. The filtered suspension is maintained in the presence of oxalic acid at 85-95 C till complete precipitation. Precipitated powder is filtered, dried at 180-190 for 5 or 6 hours and calcined at 900-930 C for 3.5-4.5 hours. Method makes it possible to prepare expensive gadolinium oxide from utilized waste and use it once again. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 3 cl, 1 tbl
