Zusammenfassung:metallurgy, more specifically, complex treatment of metal in ladle for subsequent continuous casting of steel. SUBSTANCE: method includes steel tapping from steel melting unit into ladle, supply to ladle during steel tapping of solid slag mixture containing components in the following amounts, wt.%: lime 50-90; granulated aluminum 1.30; the balance, fluorspar. Consumption of solid slag mixture is determined by relationship G=Kl(S1-S2)(T-t) M, where S1 is sulfur content in steel tapped into ladle from steel melting unit, wt.%; S2 is needed content of sulfur in steel after its treatment in ladle, wt.%; T is temperature of steel in steel melting unit at its tapping into ladle, C; t is required value of steel temperature after its treatment in ladle, C; M is weight of steel in ladle, t; K is coefficient equalling 0.086-0.2 kg/sq.t%C. Then, supplied to ladle is aluminum wire, and steel is blown with oxygen from top with flow rate determined by offered relationship.
