SUBSTANCE: invention proposes agent that has glutaric aldehyde, water and quaternary ammonium compound of type N-[alkylphenoxypoly(ethyleneoxy)carbonylmethyl] ammonium chloride of the general formula of the definite composition. Method of agent preparing involves heating the mixture of glutaric aldehyde an aqueous solution and N-[alkylphenoxypoly- (ethyleneoxy)carbonylmethyl]ammonium chloride at 50-80 C for 2-3 h. EFFECT: enhanced disinfecting activity. 3 cl, 3 tbl, 3 ex
