Zusammenfassung:biotechnological methods for oil pollution removal. SUBSTANCE: bacterial strain isolated from soil polluted by petroleum derivatives is cultured for 72 h in liquid nutrient medium containing mineral salts and molasses at 28 C under aerobic conditions. Deep culture of microorganism (10%) is placed into sterile peat with mineral additives and additionally grown for 120 h at 3 C. Destructive activity of preparation containing thus grown strain with regard to petroleum hydrocarbons and derivatives at working concentration of bacteria 0.1% ranges between 87 and 97% within a wide temperature range: from 3 to 45 C, in particular between 87 and 92% at low temperature (3 C) within a wide pH range: from 4.5 to 8.0.
