METHOD OF PREPARING WATER-SOLUBLE POLYSACCHARIDE SHOWING HEPATOPROTECTIVE ACTIVITY FROM GINSENG LEAVES

Raw is extracted three-fold with water at 20 C for 8 min, extracts are combined, concentrated under vacuum, treated with 3-fold volume of 96% ethanol in the ratio extractant : ethanol = 1:3. Water-soluble polysaccharides are precipitated, precipitate is filtered off, washed out with ethanol and dried on the glass.
