Zusammenfassung:synthetic rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: cis-1,4- polybutadiene is used in tyre industry in manufacture of industrial rubber products and for synthesis of shock-absorbent polystyrene. Also described is method of preparing gel-free cis-1,4-polybutadiene by polymerization of butadiene-1,3 using hydrocarbon solvent and low temperature treatment of original components in the presence of catalyst comprising cobalt compound, alkylaluminium chloride and water. Solution of water in toluene with concentration of 0.02-0.05 wt % thermostated at temperatures ranging from -15 C to +20 C, mixed with toluene solution of alkylaluminium chloride, cooled to temperature of -15 C. The resulting solution is added to mixture of toluene solution of cobalt compound and solution of butadiene-1,3 in aliphatic hydrocarbon cooled to minus 15 C.
