SUBSTANCE: method includes construction of drainage system and pumping out underground waters from system for intercepting water flow passing through contaminated section of water- bearing horizon. Novelty is that flow interception is carried out before getting of flow into contaminated section, and pumping out of underground waters from drainage system is carried out so as to keep their level in system higher than water level in natural or artificial water intake downstream from river contaminated section. Pumping out of underground waters is carried out so as to preclude displacement of underground water flow division point into section of contamination.
