SUBSTANCE: combined-cycle plant 1 has gas turbine 2, exhaust-heat boiler 6 connected on exhaust-gas side of the latter and having its heat-transfer surfaces inserted in steam-water loop 8 of steam turbine 4 which has high-pressure section 4a, intermediate- pressure section 4 b, and low-pressure section 4c; novelty is that heat exchanger 70 mounted outside exhaust-heat boiler 6 is connected on primary side between high-pressure section 4a and intermediate-pressure section 4b, and on secondary side, between intermediate-pressure section 4b and low-pressure section 4c of steam turbine 4. Combined-cycle process is as follows. Low-pressure steam ND flowing to steam turbine 4 is heated due to indirect heat transfer from intermediate-pressure steam MD coming from steam turbine 4.
