Zusammenfassung: | chemical technology, organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method of producing catalyst and synthesis of 1,4-butynediol from acetylene and formaldehyde. Invention proposes to produce catalyst for synthesis of 1,4-butynediol on the base of kaolin which is mixed with water at ratio 3.5:1, extrudates are formed from obtained paste, dried at 120-160 C, calcined at 900-1100 C and cooled. From obtained carrier catalyst is prepared by impregnation with aqueous solution of metal nitrates and catalyst has (as measured for metal), g/dm3: copper, 200-230; nickel, 2-12 and/or bismuth, 70-90. Impregnating carrier is calcined at 360-480 C. Kaolin carrier is used as a carrier obtained after regeneration of copper-nickel-chrome hydrogenation catalyst of 1,4-butynediol to 1,4-butanediol. Obtained catalyst containing the following components, as measured for metal, wt.%: Cu, 3.0-7.0; Ni, 0.05-0.30; and/or Bi, 1.0-3.0; and kaolin up to 100 is activated with 37-% formaldehyde solution by bubbling with gaseous acetylene at heating. Synthesis of 1,4-butynediol is carried out on activated catalyst at 80-120 C, under pressure 0.1-1.0 MPa, at volume rate of formaldehyde solution feeding 0.1-0.5 h-1 and that of acetylene 10-60 h-1.
