Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: vacuum-tube devices including X-ray optical converters. SUBSTANCE: aluminum ring and steal cup having glass end portion are joined together by diffusion sealing. Parts to be joined are first heated to plastic strain temperature of aluminum ring Tpl.@mins. at sealing pressure Pseal = 0. As soon as they are heated to Tpl.@mins., pressure Pseal = 0,5 ± 0,01 kgf/sq. mm is applied to these parts, then temperature Tseal and pressure Pseal are linearly increased so that at Tseal = 600o± 5oC Pseal = 1,8÷2,0 kgf/sq. mm. Parts being joined are exposed to these sealing temperatures and pressures for 25-30 minutes and then cooled down to room temperature at Pseal = 1.8-2.0 kgf/sq. mm.
