Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: technology of measurement of optical characteristics of atmosphere to determine meteorological visibility range for meteorological support of take-off and landing of aircraft. SUBSTANCE: N initial levels of luminous flux are set by means of variable attenuator, corresponding levels of electric signal across output of photoelectric converter are measured with installation of light filter in path of luminous flux If and without it Iw. Absolute value of systematic error is found by shutting off luminous flux with the help of opaque screen. Relations DELTA per each level of luminous flux are calculated by more exact values of and . Then X is calculated as X= (X1+X2+X3+...+Xn)/n. Absolute values of deviation from average relation Xn-X are computed and used to bring to light presence and degree of lack of linearity of calibration characteristic of photoelectric converter. Minimal absolute values of deviation of relation Xn-Xav are employed to determine linear section of calibration characteristic with specified error. Light transmission coefficient of neutral light filter is ascertained by average value Xn for linear section.
