Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy, particularly, production of aluminum-silicon alloys from ores containing aluminum and silicon oxides. SUBSTANCE: aluminum-silicon alloy is produced from portions of concentrate of ore containing aluminum and silicon oxides, particularly, from kyanite concentrate which is melted and heated up to temperature above 2100 C due to chemical energy produced by oxidation with rated amount of oxygen of the product obtained from concentrate. Subsequent reduction of alloy from portions of kyanite melt is effected by hydrocarbon reducing agent. Aluminum and silicon are reduced, both from molten portion of kyanite and from that melt which is formed by combustion of rated amount of alloy. Liquid alloy reduced from kyanite portion is removed from melting unit and remaining liquid alloy is returned for next combustion operation. Gas periodically withdrawn from melting unit is efficiently utilized. EFFECT: reduced power consumption in production process, decreased maintenance cost and capital investments. 6 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex |
