Zusammenfassung:FIELD: alloy metallurgy, particularly, magnetically hard alloys containing iron, cobalt, nickel as base, and also copper, aluminum, titanium, niobium and samarium. SUBSTANCE: oxidizing roasting of metal-abrasive wastes is carried out in two stages between which grinding is accomplished to obtain fraction within 300 mcm, and their magnetic separation is effected. The first stage of roasting is carried out at temperature of 900-1000 C for 1.5-3 h, and the second stage, at temperature of 900-1000 for 1.0-1.5 h. Prior to alumino-thermal reduction, reaction vessels together with reaction mixture in them is heated to 300-500 C to reduce content of carbon and nonmetallic inclusions in magnetic cobalt- and nickel-containing alloys. The inclusions impair magnetic properties and structure of magnetically hard alloys. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl, 1 ex
