Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises carrying out thermodiffusion zinc plating in powder medium and subsequently applying protective face layer which is formed from composition comprising aluminium powder, polystyrene and/or styrene-rubber copolymer and organic solvent, ratios of components being as follows, wt.%: aluminium powder, 5-10; polystyrene and/or styrene-rubber copolymer, 8-15; and organic solvent, the balance. Polystyrene and/or styrene-rubber copolymer include formation or polystyrene shock resistant polystyrene. Application of protective face layer is carried out by dipping or spraying. Method makes it possible to improve decorative appearance, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of coatings, simplify process of applying coatings and widen range of products being treated.
