SUBSTANCE: invention describes catalytic composition for alkylation or transalkylation of aromatic compounds that consists of free beta-zeolite of that modified by isomorphous substitution of aluminium with boron, iron or gallium or by inclusion of alkaline/alkaline-earth metals after processes of ionic exchange and inorganic ligand where extrazeolite porosity (i. e. porosity obtained by addition of mesoporosity and macroporosity fractions in their presence in catalytic composition) has pores of radius above 100 . Also, invention relates to methods of alkylation and transalkylation of aromatic hydrocarbons that are carried out in the presence the above indicated catalytic composition. Invention provides high exploitation working end efficiency properties in separate reaction cycle, high mechanical indices (resistance to smashing, abrasion-resistance).
